Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer and vocalist. An attractive, clever and talented actress, she's a great inspiration to Asian actors who are aspiring to be big stars in Hollywood. After several appearances on popular television series, she became famous for her role in the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. The actress took her initial fame into major screen roles in films such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. For Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave a stunning performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. In the same time frame she also acted as the lead in several flops in the field such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role on the small screen on Cashmere Mafia did not produce any results. Southland was a critically acclaimed series of police dramas that had Liu playing recurring parts, helped to establish her role as an actress. Liu selects her roles carefully so that she doesn't get typecast in a competitive industry. While she's extremely proud of her culture however, she is not letting it limit her imagination.
