Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles to a middle-class family. The actress grew up with big dreams. Her best roles include the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol as well as the romantic thriller Precious. When she was a child she was raised in a Los Angeles middle-class household. A passion for film within her daughter was a skill that she learned from her mother who was also a fan of movies. Paula participated in co-curricular school activities and was especially interested in the drama. She loved to play act with her classmates and took part in school's stage shows. As a student in a summer camp in the University of Southern California, she had a blast there. She won a PBS three-month project to film documentary films. Even though she loved her job, she still yearned to be an actress. She launched her acting career by playing a supporting role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. She has appeared since in numerous films as well as TV shows.
