Summer Glau

 Her first TV role was as a guest star in the 2002 episode of Angel. The director who spotted her was JossWhedon who then made her the character River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. The role she also reprised for Serenity's feature film sequel. Glau has previously attempted to audition for the part of a Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssaenrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but lost to the actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau appeared on the episode "Love Conquers Al" of the TV series Cold Case. She played Shelly her high school senior in the episode Sleepover. She also appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " Season 2 of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the lover of Jeremy Erhart). Glau played Tess Doerner (a paranoid, psychotic returning character) in season two of The 4400. From season three, she became a regular character. She was also in the film of the same name, a horror comedy called Mammoth. Glau was part of the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles the series that premiered on January 13, 2008. Glau was the character Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration team sent back to defend John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The seventh episode of the show, "The Demon Hand" included a number of scenes in which Glau acting as Cameron, dances in ballet. In the second season's episode "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young who was Cameron's human doppelganger. Glau was also in the episode The Big Bang Theory, which is a CBS situation comedy.
