
Lowell started acting in Dangerously Close, followed by one small role in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. Then she moved on to roles that included co-starring as Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) and, from 1996 onwards as the assistant district attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons on the television drama Law & Order, a character she reprised in the year 2005 as a guest star on its spinoff, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and later on in the original series in 2022 when it returned for a 21st season. Before she was cast in the role she was dissatisfied with her acting career , and had applied to study documentary filmmaking at New York University. [4] She paused her acting during the mid-2000s. Lowell gave Lowell her voice and likeness in 2012 when she reprised her Licence to Kill part in the video game 007 Legends. In 2018 and appeared on Blue Bloods as a guest. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. John Stember, a fashion photographer with whom she was first married and her third husband, was her first. [9][10] From 1989 until 1995, she was married to actor Griffin Dunne. She has one daughter named Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell was married to Richard Gere [11] in November 2002 after the birth their child Homer James Jigme Gere was born in February 2000. After 11 years of union, the couple split in September of 2013. They were in New York Supreme Court divorce proceedings. The divorce case was resolved in October of 2016. [13]
